Dear Trophykart Racers and MMR Members:
Thank you for your loyal support of Trophykart racing at sanctioned MMR events. Working side by side with many dedicated volunteers, Trophykart and MMR employees put in long hours to make Trophykart racing possible. Your enthusiastic participation is greatly appreciated. Many of you raced throughout California at the M4SX Trophykart Nationals, at Podium Productions’ events, and at CORR. And this year, even more exciting MMR racing is coming your way.
How about these venues! Glen Helen, the home of MMR; the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix; Lake Elsinore every month; Milestone Ranch in Riverside; Extreme Motor Sports at the Orange County Fair Grounds; the Del Mar Fair on the coast near San Diego; Perris Auto Speedway for the World Cup of Trophykarts; the Imperial Valley Fair, and much more! How about Monster Jam in Anaheim Stadium or Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. In all, there are MMR races all over; enough to keep you racing nearly every weekend! To find out more, go to www.racemmr.com. You will also find links to www.podiumproductions.com and www.trophykartracing.com and www.m4sx.com.
And here is a double great surprise! Set aside Friday, April 18th. First, you are all familiar with Best in the Desert Racing. This year, for the first time, Tropykarts will race at Terrible’s “250” at Primm, known as “The Richest Off-Road Race in Nevada.” MMR has expanded to include four classes and this will be true at Terrible’s “250.” As in the past, the Junior 1 Class is 8 to 12; Junior 2 is 13 to 15, and now, racing the new Trophykart Elite, the Elite Hotshots Class for 10 to 15 year olds. And, second, for all you older brothers and sisters, dads and moms, and granddads and grandmas, here is a big treat – the Elite Class for 16 and up. That’s right! The class you have all requested and a chance to show your stuff.
Class winners earn a spot in the World Cup!!! At Terrible’s “250” in front of thousands of fans, and just like the big trucks, MMR Trophykarts will race a true desert closed course track. Each lap will be 1.7 miles. We will race 15 laps for a total of approximately 25 miles. Stationed around the course will be volunteers and if needed they will be able to assist your Trophykart racer. You may have one co-driver. Only the race registered driver can earn a spot in the World Cup. The rule is a co-driver must be a member of MMR and must be the same age class as the registered driver. So that’s it. Bring your Junior 1, Junior 2, or Elite Hotshot. Bring yourself and race the first ever Elite Class. Bring a co-driver. Bring an attitude for fun, excitement, and true off road racing at its best! Visit www.racemmr.com for event and registration information.
